How to take care of mental health?

How to effectively take care of your mental health, but also physical health?

It is no secret that to some extent our mental health depends on our diet, but we are only talking about a certain extent. Surely, therefore, the most important element affecting our mental health and the level of our mental health is our relationship with our family, with our loved ones, our relationship in the workplace.

If we talk about good relations with other people, our mental health will also be at a much higher level. Stress is another factor that has a significant impact on our mental health. Each of us is influenced by it to a greater or lesser degree, but it is very important not to be dominated by it.

Relaxation, diet and rest

We at this point point point to rest, relaxation, activity in the fresh air as elements that have a strong impact on our psyche. Spending too many hours in front of a computer, in front of a TV set will certainly not achieve what we care about, we will certainly not be able to talk about the right level of our mental health and we can have quite serious problems with it.

Sometimes we have to take serious steps, sometimes we even have to give up something, because mental health is the most important thing than any other good, and we should take special care of this health. Today, when we are dealing with an ever-increasing level of mental health, when we are dealing with an increasing number of suicides, it is worth thinking about this in a special way. None of us is made of steel and may burst one day.

What about physical health?

Taking care of one's physical health is certainly not an easy thing to do, although it should be clearly stated that it is something that can be achieved as much as possible. Good health is mainly about taking care of our diet, about the proper way of eating every day without exception. Taking care of what we eat is certainly not easy when we are dealing with such a large amount of artificially processed food, although it does not relieve us from the need to take care of our health.

Natural meals

We must stress here that taking care of one's health is eating as much as possible based on natural ingredients, reaching for what has been tried and tested for centuries, and such a product is undoubtedly goji berries, for example. It is a product originating from the Far East, although we can already consider it as our own.

Goji berries have a positive influence on the work of our heart, on the functioning of our immune system, on the level of cholesterol, they have a very positive effect on our immune system, on the work of other organs in our body. We can also talk here about their positive effect on cancer prevention. At this point, we will particularly like to point out such an aspect, which is not only diet. They also have a positive effect on weight loss.

Healthy foods

Taking care of our health is not only what we eat, but something more, it is our daily lifestyle, it is the influence of stress on our health, it is physical activity, which should not be missing in everyday life of any of us and this element should not be missed by any of us. Taking care of one's health can and should be understood as something individual, because each of us is in a slightly different situation.

Thus, each of us may have slightly different possibilities and each of us may have a slightly different approach to this issue. However, it is important to remember about our health every day, whatever we do. Each of us wants to enjoy good health and wellbeing for a long time, for many years, but this should be taken care of every day.

Diet for the brain

We should eat 60 types of products in a week. Daily consumption of whole-grain cereals, vegetables, fruit and dairy products nourishes our brain. This is because they are rich in fibre, vitamin B and amino acids.
Note: However, it is important that our diet contains low-fat dairy products. In addition, do not forget about carbohydrates and 2-3 times a week you should have pulses and fish. These products will ensure that our brain is properly nourished.
In this way, we can improve memory, speech fluency, but also mood. In the season of depression, this is valuable information, because by eating fish and drinking 2 teaspoons of linseed oil, or eating walnuts, we will improve our mood.

However, when choosing a diet for our brain, we must not forget two basic principles. Firstly, to always eat breakfast in the morning, as it stabilises blood sugar levels, and secondly, to regularly eat 5-6 meals a day. In addition, if we rid our diet of simple sugars, saturated animal fats, fermented and pickled foods, and excess coffee, alcohol and nicotine, we will certainly improve brain function.

However, we must stress that there is no special diet for the brain. Proper nutrition improves its functioning and, consequently, that of the whole body.
