Lipolysis weight loss - how do you lose weight?

Lipolysis instead of a weight loss diet

The modern world places high demands on us when it comes to good appearance. More and more often, instead of simply taking care of ourselves and living a relatively healthy life, we chase perfection, fine-tuning every detail of our appearance. We are busy doing this and we have less and less time.

No wonder, therefore, that we are looking for solutions that will give us the maximum effect with minimal time and effort, even if we would have to spend a lot of money. Almost everyone wants to have a perfect figure, but not everyone has patience for long-term diets and tiring exercises - anyway, it is becoming more and more difficult for us to find time for exercises and careful composition of meals.

No wonder that weight loss treatments - both surgical and cosmetic - are becoming more and more popular. They are not cheap, but we can go as far as taking a loan, saving money for a long time or giving up other necessary expenses - such as renovating or replacing a car with a larger one - as long as we can only get closer to perfection in terms of appearance quickly. One of the most popular weight loss treatments is lipolysis. What is it and who can use it?

Will lipolysis instead of diet have an effect?

Weight loss: the secrets of lipolysis

Lipolysis is not as invasive as liposuction or fat extraction. Thus, it does not require such a long convalescence, although it still remains a treatment and not a simple cosmetic amendment. Therefore, we always have to take into account possible complications and health problems, and after the procedure we should spend some time on the necessary recovery.

And what is lipolysis?

In the case of liposuction, the fat cells are removed mechanically. Lipolysis is the elimination of fat at a chemical level: a special substance injected into the area that we want to lose weight, breaks down fat cells causing their content to be released. The liver is further broken down with the fat released, metabolising it and removing debris from the body. The result is one thing: a loss of centimetres from the treated area.

The treatment is not a risky one; some complications may always occur, but usually they are not particularly dangerous to health (sometimes just for a few days to a few weeks after the treatment, the deterioration of mood and painfulness of the treated area is maintained), especially as the doctor minimizes any risk by conducting a detailed interview with the patient before the treatment.

Weight loss: is lipolysis suitable for you?

Like every procedure, lipolysis does not have the same effect on all patients. Let's consider who will benefit best from lipolysis and who should rather give it up. First of all: health contraindications. Whether lipolysis can be carried out without risk in you is a matter for your doctor before the procedure.

However, you can predict for yourself whether or not you can have lipolysis, and unfortunately you must give it up if you have serious kidney or liver problems, are pregnant, are breastfeeding or have menstrual problems, fight anaemia, have epilepsy, or have an allergy to any of the ingredients used in therapy. But health contraindications are only the basis for determining whether a lipolysis treatment is the right one for which it is worth spending money.

It will help to understand the nature of lipolysis and the real effects it causes: first of all, one should be aware that it is not a wonderful means to obtain the dimensions of the model in any part of the body. The effect is visible, but not spectacular: we can count on an average loss of two to four centimetres from the treated part of the body. Lipolysis is not going to slim down a very obese person in a miraculous way, however, significant obesity is also a contraindication for this procedure.

Lipolysis - the best way to do things

It is relatively easy to determine who will benefit best from lipolysis. The best results are obtained in patients who are slim, whether as a result of a recent weight loss diet and exercise program or "by nature", but who complain about fat accumulation in a specific place higher than in other areas of the body.

Unfortunately, we often have our characteristic "stubborn" body part resistant to weight loss. Women often complain that although their shoulders and calves have become very thin as a result of weight loss and that their breasts have diminished, they cannot get rid of fat from their hips or thighs, for example, although the whole body is thin. It is these people who will observe the effects of lipolysis best, which allows to precisely reduce the circumference of a selected part of the body.

It should be remembered that lipolysis is not a way to lose weight, but rather a supportive treatment - precisely in situations when standard methods of weight loss and training have produced good results in terms of weight loss, but have not allowed for sufficient modelling of "critical" areas of the body. However, this is good news for people who have been struggling with the problem of a disproportionately fatty specific part of the guns for years - even in such cases lipolysis works.

In addition, its effect is permanent, unless we return to unhealthy eating habits and rebuild it, but then the adverse changes caused by non-compliance with the diet will be observed throughout the body, and not only in the places subjected to lipolysis. In order to achieve the best results (and they occur after two or three weeks from each treatment), the procedure is spread out into several stages - also for safety reasons. Thanks to this, the active substances have time to act, and the liver is not too overloaded with the metabolization of more than usual amount of fats. Therefore, in order to see the full effect, it is necessary to be patient.

Weight loss: how to withstand restrictions?

Although virtually all of us dream of having a beautiful, flawless figure, few of us can boast of it. Nowadays, it is easy to succumb to various temptations - fast-food outlets on every corner, countless sweets on the supermarket shelves and a sedentary lifestyle.

Lack of exercise and physical activity are just a few of the causes of weight gain in today's society. So it's no secret that in order to achieve the figure of your dreams or lose weight, you need a proper diet

That is easy to say, but what can be done to successfully follow a particular diet plan?

First and foremost, do not "jump on" very restrictive methods, which allow you to consume virtually symbolic amounts of food. Although you will lose quite a lot of weight in a few days or weeks, in the long run, such a diet will be completely ineffective - there will be a yoyo effect as soon as you return to your given habits.

Seeing a specialist - a doctor or dietician

The best way to choose the right weight loss method is to visit a professional, such as a dietician. He or she will assess your predisposition to weight gain, interview you about your medical history and, finally, choose the best eating plan that will allow you to achieve maximum results without starving yourself.

It is also important to have a positive mindset: let's tell ourselves that a diet is not a torture, but only a transition period, a way towards a goal that should be the most important for us. Our psyche and attitude really can work wonders!
